John demonstrates how stable a well designed flat kite is, as well as his abilities as an acrobat. John Revelle was the first person to actually build a clone-based on the Dickenson Wing. He is also credited with making the first harness to replace the seat, by adapting a standard parachute harness. Later he went on to developed the first prone harness so as to reduce drag from the pilot.
