Rounded corners on the 'A' Frame

This photo shows the rounded corners on the 'A' frame were still being used in the UK as late as the middle 1970's. This glider is a Birdman Sports Albatross purchased in 1974 and being flown by Terry Aspinall from the sand dunes of Suffolk approximately 1974/75
