The Dickenson Wing Mk1 half Scale model was first flown before the Grafton Jacaranda Festival (NSW Australia) that was held in October 1963

This was one of Johns best gliders. The sail was sewn by sail maker Kevin Mitchell, who made the 'Aerostructures' and early Moyes sails and later worked for Steve Cohen.
